The Diploma in Building Society Operations is designed to give candidates a broad and balanced understanding and knowledge of the building society sector. It is aimed at anyone who is working within building societies who wants to gain a broad understanding of the sector; this qualification enhances job related skills by studying a wide range of subjects which are designed to enable candidates gain the knowledge and skills both for current practice and the rapidly changing environment of the industry. The qualification consists of one mandatory 20 credit unit, Building Society Operations, plus 2 other 20 credit units from three optional units. A total number of 60 credits must be gained to achieve the qualification.
