City College Norwich was the first in the country in April 2008 to gain awarding organisation status, which means that we are now able to accredit high quality training provided by employers with nationally recognised qualifications.
 
CCNQ has used this new status to work with Norfolk Constabulary to accredit pre-entry training and with financial services companies such as Aviva, Axa, Moneyfacts, Virgin Money and the Norwich & Peterborough Building Society to accredit a course for new recruits to the sector.
